In a significant diplomatic meeting held in Hanoi, Vietnamese General Secretary and State President Tô Lâm engaged with Samdech Khuon Sudary, President of the Cambodian National Assembly, to reinforce the enduring friendship and comprehensive partnership shared by Vietnam and Cambodia. The discussions underscored a mutual commitment to deepen ties and enhance cooperation across various channels, including party, parliamentary, and governmental avenues.

Both leaders placed a strong emphasis on broadening collaboration in key areas such as defense, security, and trade, as well as encouraging more robust people-to-people exchanges. They recognized the importance of putting existing bilateral agreements into action, aiming to boost the coordination efforts among Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos.
